On behalf of our client, a leading local building material supplier we are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their regional team.

Based in  Abu Dhabi and reporting into the Projects Manager you will assist said PM with the management of the following projects; New Cement Plant, Block Factory, Waterproofing Factory, Dry Mortar Factory and Ready-mix Factories. The incumbent will represent the company in all matters related to electrical systems including but not limited to; ensuring that the design consultants produce a reference design based on all relevant and appropriate specifications and standards; monitor progress of Design consultants and Contractors deliverables packages including design calculations, drawing...etc); monitor the execution of electrical works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents; liaise with local authorities and ministerial agencies having jurisdiction over the projects and witness the testing and commissioning of the works.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Electrical Engineering and an appreciative understanding of Mechanical Engineering. He/She will have 8+ years experience in the construction of Factories and Plants and retain the ability to get all the required clearances-(ADDC) from relevant authorities. Experience in supervising contractor works and working with Design consultants coupled with familiarity in Safety standards, ADDC and AEIC rules and regulations is obligatory.
