Chief Financial Officer
Our client, a diversified groupof companies based in Qatar is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer who will be Reporting to the CEO, the CFO is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization. To supervise, manage and provide operational and programmatic support to the organization. To assist the management on all strategic and tactical financial matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding. Main Duties and Responsibilities Analyze financial information and produce forecasts for business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment and business decisions.Interpret data affecting investment programs and business, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influencesMaintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of real-estate, retail, and business in general, finance theories.Monitor and present oral and written reports on fundamental economics and developments through the analysis of information obtained from financial publications, investment banking firms, government agencies, publications, company sources and personal interviews to recommend investments and investment timing.Prepare plans of action for investment and current business engineering based on financial analyses. Train the Finance Unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.Identify new funding opportunities, drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of services. Provide the management with an operating budget, with analysis support and compliance with all contractual requirements, include interpreting of legislative and programmatic rules and regulations and compliance with Governmental laws.Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including revenues, expenses and balance sheet reports.Oversee all purchasing and payroll activity for staff and participants. Develop and maintain systems of internal controls, policies and procedures to safeguard financial assets of the organization and regulate business practice. Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors, ensuring all audit issues are resolved. Attend Board and Subcommittee meetings including being the lead staff on the AuditFinance Committee. Monitor banking activities of the organization and ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs. Serve as one of the trustees and oversee administration and financial reporting of the organization's Savings.Investigate cost-effective benefit and cost-impact analysis plans and other fringe benefits which the organization may offer employees and potential employees with the goal of attracting and retaining qualified individuals. .Oversee the production of monthly and yearly reports including reconciliations with funders as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for use by Executive management, as well as the AuditFinance Committee and Board of Directors. .Assist in the design, implementation, and timely calculations of wage incentives, commissions, and salaries for the staff. .Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure a disaster recovery plan is in place. .Oversee business insurance and other coverage-plans execution and analysis, as well as overseeing the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets. .
