Marketing Manager
One of our clients - a reputed and well established organization in Kuwait is looking to appoint a Marketing Manager for their automotive division in Kuwait. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for vehicle sales, parts and service and promote the brand image of our client in order to increase market share and sales. Your responsibilities will include Develop an integrated marketing strategy to effectively achieve brand promotion objectives and increase market share for Sales, Service and Parts departments in line with their respective business strategies Develop the Marketing department's budget to support overall business strategy of the Automotive Departments monitor and report actual spending with break-ups on various activities to Divisional General Manager - Automotive Ensure appropriate research is been carried out and competitor marketing intelligence information is timely sourced to support development of a dynamic and responsive marketing strategy Lead development of detailed marketing calendar in active coordination with Group Managers and Divisional General Manager - Automotive Coordinate with General Manager Vehicle Sales (GMVS) to plan for new product launches Recommend appropriate media channel (print, television, radio, mobile technology etc) to Group Managers based on their targeted audience Plan new customer relationship reinforcement initiatives, outlining the integration required with marketing programs Review and approve formulations of all marketing promotions, outdoor events, media programs etc. Modify the marketing strategy, plans and programs suitably in response to changing business environment or business strategy Oversee implementation of CRM initiatives approved by Divisional General Manager - Automotive Oversee public relation activities and ensure that Client creates the desired impact in desired media channels Support development of an interactive Client automotive website providing web-based marketing information and services to customers on vehicle sales, parts and service solutions Direct preparation of marketing plans and implementation of advertising promotional campaigns, marketing promotions, media programs etc. undertake periodic reviews of marketing, CRM and branding effectiveness for all departments Provide assistance to other Client's departments and divisions as and when required towards specific advertising and promotional activities coordinate with advertising creative agency to support such activities where required Negotiate contracts and maintain good working relationships with vendors suppliers for providing requisite services to Client Perform routine activities in accordance with agreed deadlines and standards and discharge any other task assigned by superiors in a timely and effective manner Assist colleagues and foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration Contribute to the department's development by providing timely suggestions and feedback Comply with Quality Standards and Health and Safety procedures affecting self and others Perform routine activities in accordance with agreed deadlines and standards and discharge any other task assigned by superiors in a timely and effective manner Assist colleagues and foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration Contribute to the department's development by providing timely suggestions and feedback Supervise functioning of direct reports and exercise administrative control (including authorizing leave applications) over all Marketing personnel in own department Identify training needs and review performance of subordinates on targets assigned provide feedback and help them develop their skills Monitor the performance of direct reportees and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback provide inputs to senior management and recommendations for increments and promotions, if merited Maintain and promote staff motivation Carry out performance appraisals as per company policies and procedures Make requisite attempts to handle all grievances raised by subordinates in a prompt and effective manner and escalate such matters to own superior if required.
