Job Descriptions Summary :

Responsible for the ordering of spare and consumable parts and supplies and knowledgeable of the material management system.  Knowledge of material and parts requisitioning, receiving reports, vendors, and suppliers, import duties and shipping terms and methods.  Responsible to assist the maintenance and planning / scheduling departments for procurement of parts and supplies on a timely basis, retrieved and packaged for delivery to the end user.  Supervises the storekeepers and storeroom operation to meet material management performance.

Qualifications :

1.   Minimum 3 years Bachelor degree. Preferred candidates are in Engineering discipline or Master’s Degree in Business Administration. CIPS qualification would be an added advantage

2.   Five years experience as Procurement Manager in the UAE is required. Experience in power / desalination plant would be preferred.

3.   Should have experience in computer applications such as:  word processing (Word, Word perfect), MP2, spread sheets (Excel, Lotus, Access), graphics (viz. Freelance, PowerPoint, Harvard, etc.)

4.   Excellent knowledge in "Procurement and Inventory" ERP system is required.  Knowledge and experience in Maximo would be an advantage.

5.   Excellent written and oral communication and inter-personal skills are essential.

6.   Strong leadership ability essential.

7.   Ability to take direction and responsibility.

8.   Ability to handle multiple assignments.

9.   Demonstrated ability to analyze a problem and pursue it to a successful conclusion.

10. Team player.

11.  UAE driving license is compulsory.

15.  Preference to candidates who are currently in the UAE and can join immediately.
