Job Description
•Be fully conversant with the company’s mission, vision and culture in order to operate productively within the company environment and spirit.
•Be fully conversant with all the production lines components, their interface and integrated functioning modes entailing equipment, electronics along with control and operating software and establishes proper protection for highly sensitive elements within these lines.
•Maintaining clear, precise and updated files and operating logbooks on all the machinery, equipment and tools used by the company and be able to refer to such documentation and efficiently utilize it whenever necessary.
•Approves technical documentations related to the operation, modification and installations diagrams.
•Maintains an open channel with all the major suppliers of the company machinery and equipment and be in a position to immediately reach them for emergency troubleshooting whenever necessary.
•Coordinates with the Production Manager for the establishment of schedules for periodic inspection, general overhaul, repairs and modifications preventive programs covering all the plant lines taking into consideration all the concerned processes.
•Establishes operational measures to reactivate operation and prevent wreckage in case of technical accidents that hit the machineries, tools and installations.
•Develops emergency backup programs to be implemented in case of unforeseen problems within the production line and runs drills to insure the proper functioning of such programs.
•Coordinates with the Outlets Operations Manager for the establishment of effective preventive maintenance programs covering all the outlet equipment taking into consideration all the concerned processes.
•Coordinates with the concerned Managers for the establishment of effective preventive maintenance programs for the Company premises and fleet.
•Coordinates the set up and proper operation of the plant workshop by monitoring and controlling the availability, correct usage and calibration of the required tooling for maintenance.
•Continuously checks on the Health and Safety procedures established on the production lines and within the entire production facility and on the adherence of the Maintenance Team to all requirements imposed by such procedures.
•Coordinates with the Human Resources Department and monitoring the recruitment and selection of the maintenance staff in line with the established Maintenance Team structure including positions concerned.
•Keeps track of all trade fairs and similar events within the region and internationally that are important for the promotion and continuous improvement of the company’s product and image.
•Prepares and timely submits all required scheduled, ad hoc and eventual exemption reports that might be requested by the plant manager in relations to maintenance activities and events.
QUALIFICATIONS
•A degree in Engineering;
•A least 15 years work experience with a minimum of 5 year in Industrial bread production.
•Computer literate.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Strong leadership and management skills.
•Highly innovative and pro-active.
•Sociable and willing to work in all environments.
•Solid knowledge of English and Arabic languages.
