Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas:

• Manage du’s requirements in respect of the numbering including fixed numbers, mobile numbers, short codes, toll-free numbers and all other numbering ranges in accordance with the regulatory authorities numbering plan and policy.
• Provide support as required on interconnection, number portability, carrier selection, buildings and land access, facilities sharing and services unbundling as required.
• Manage consumer affairs including obligations relating to consumer code and complaints in respect of du’s operations to the regulator, including responses to the regulator on Customer Service Information.
• Support development of submissions to the TRA and other Government agencies as appropriate, on du’s position in respect of any matters relating to  regulatory policy or process.
• Monitor and assess international developments in respect of regulatory policy, particularly in respect of international best practice and GCC countries.
• Liaise with other du operating divisions to ensure implementation of comprehensive planning and processes to ensure that responses to regulatory obligations are met
• Support development and implementation appropriate overall performance measures in respect of du’s obligations in respect regulatory compliance
• Participate in internal/ external communication across involved parties and ensure high awareness levels among all levels of management
• Support monitoring and reporting the progress of agreed plans to upper management; initiate corrective actions to address shortfalls in the plans
• Oversee the process of obtaining type approvals from the regulator
• Oversee all technical reporting to the TRA, including outage notifications
• Oversee compliance regulatory obligations set-out in du’s license and the Regulatory Framework
