Job Description

Transport Manager - Sudan

A FRENCH speaking Transport Manager with extensive remote site experience in hostile environments required for multinational organisation in Sudan. Must have remote site experience & +3 years experience in Transport / Logistics Management

You are responsible for the successful:

• Planning and execution of accurate, timely deliveries to our clients customers.

• Management and control of the movement of containers from all Ports of Origin

• Management and execution of the unloading of containers as directed by the Operations Manager

• Cost and Performance management of the Transport Contract and the drivers.

• Management of the maintenance of the Depot Vehicle Fleet.

• Management of the collection of stock and passengers arriving on Incoming

Candidates must have excellent English and ideally have French as their first language, be educated with a qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain coming from a reputable institution. The package includes 3 flights per year, 63 days paid leave, medical insurance plus a yearly bonus (approx 2 to 3 times the monthly salary).

Candidates should ideally be available to interview immediately and ideally be available to start at short notice.
