Role:

Ø  The role of a coordinator is to provide the linkage between the end users and the IT and support both groups in getting ready for the Oracle ERP deployment and supporting the ERP once it is live.

Education:

Ø  Preferably a university degree specializing in related business processes or computer related field.

Ø  In depth understanding of Oracle ERP especially the primary Functional (or Technical) Area from a functionality and configuration standpoints

Experience:

Ø  Minimum of three years experience in business/IT analysis and computer

Ø  Minimum one full cycle Oracle ERP implementation

Ø  Minimum of one year of system production support

Ø  At least three proven training material development and delivery

Ø  Advanced knowledge of and work experience with the functional area in question

Ø  Excellent knowledge and ability to use reporting tools and query tools

Skills:

Ø  The functional coordinator should have a strong ability to translate user requests into system requirements.

Ø  He should demonstrate skill in presenting the information in an effective and understandable manner.

Ø  Knowledge of systems fundamentals and audit reporting, including the skills in diagnosing and resolving problems associated with the computer systems and Oracle ERP

Ø  He should demonstrate high proficiency in interpersonal communication and consensus building.

Ø  The functional coordinator should have a good listening skills and ability to thoughtfully consider the perspective of both the end users and IT department.

Ø  He should be oriented towards customer service focus and be to work independently and as part of a team.

Ø  He should have the ability to coach and motivate others.

Ø  He should have the ability to multi-task and prioritize based on sound judgment calls
