My client is part of a larger Government entity. They require a junior and senior accountant to join the expanding department. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career. Your main objective will be to handle the accounting processes in order to report figures to senior management through financial statements.

Day to day responsibilities will include the following;

·         Accounts payable – book related entries into the system

·         Accounts receivable – preparation of monthly billing, booking billing entries in the system (JDE)

·         Bank reconciliations – preparation of receipts to customers, passing on receipts in the system

·         External Audit – Liaise and provide external auditors with relevant financial information

Candidate Criteria:

You must be a UAE National

University degree in Accounting and/ or finance

Additional certification (ACCA, CIMA) is desirable

At least 2 - 4 years accounting experience

Fluent written and spoken English

Excellent communication skills

Strong commercial acumen
