On behalf of our client, a leading local building material supplier we are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join their regional team.
Based in Abu Dhabi and reporting into the CIO the role is multi-faceted. Primarily you will be responsible for the System Administration and operational management of the Organization’s IT infrastructure. Responsible for 200-300 users you will also be expected to address user concerns as software and networking solutions help desk. Strategic input on OS procurement is also expected and this stretches across the Holding group including wholly and partially owned subsidiaries of the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated with 3-5yrs experience in a corporate user environment. You will have exposure to Microsoft OS-(Microsoft Sql) and Great Plains ERP. On the Networking side, hands-on experience with Cisco kit, including VOIP and WAN including MPLS is ideal. This role is ideal for candidates looking to move into Consultancy or IT Management in the future. Good communication (preferably bilingual) and presentation skills. |
