| Job Description |
| Leading international Insurance firm is currently experiencing growth and looking for an Underwriting Executive in Marine for their Dubai office. DO NOT apply for this role unless you have a background in Insurance in Marine.
Job Description:
1. Ensure that underwriting records are maintained and administrative issues performed in accordance with agreed procedures
2. Provide underwriting and technical support for issuance of quotations/documentation, including gathering of data and monitoring response times to for timely submission of policies/quotes
3. To maintain prospect lists region-wide, updating records by using market data, contact information and databases
4. Ensure accuracy of documentations by reviewing wordings, schedules on policies, closings and quotations
5. Maintain and encourage development if good relations with brokers, clients, reinsurers and Sales & Management teams to ensure full cooperation at all times
Minimum Educational Qualification: Tertiary education
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years commercial insurance experience
Other Technical Skills:
- Understanding of basic underwriting jargon
- Require good understanding knowledge in order to interpret and process policies to be issued and changed
- Requires a broad knowledge of insurance industry
- Basic knowledge of all products
