We are seeking 3 Area Sales Managers (Valves) for Saudi Arabia, Qatar
& Bahrain
and Kuwait & Eastern Mediterranean
Position Summary:
Directly reporting to the
General Manager - Middle East and dotted line to global VP for strategic
accounts and JV’s, he will be located in Saudi Arabia. Reports to General
Manager Middle East.
He will oversee the sales
activities and drive all the Business Development opportunities for brands of
our client in his area of responsibilities in Saudi
Arabia, reporting into the ME HQ that is based in Jebel
Ali free zone (Dubai,
U.A.E.).
His first six-months
objectives will be:
Become
familiar with product offerings, employees and structure, key customers
and end users.
Establish face
to face business relationship with ARAMCO and SABIC and other key
accounts. Review, assess and report on key employees, assigned
territories, and performance to profit plan.
Define Goals
and Objectives for the sales team ; and assess existing talent bases and
develop high power talent resource plan, then utilize GM ME and VP to
influence the organization to implement changes
Compile and
present plans with key objectives which assure profitability and sales
growth.
Maintain
profitability and selling reporting.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited
university;
Customer
focused and results driven with strong interpersonal / relationship
skills.
Previous
selling experience and sales leadership in an international company.
Solid
oil & gas and power industry business knowledge, with valves
experience preferred. Great ability to negotiate and strong commercial and
business acumen and understanding.
Ability
to develop and grow relationships & sponsorship
Strong English and Arabic Language skills both written
and verbal
Position Responsibilities:
Improve and report on sales plan, volume
projections, future profitability, and other key metrics to quantify
performance and maintain profitability for the Region.
Analyze Regional markets to quantify and
establish target pricing parameters, volume and profitability potential
and identify prevailing practices to develop strategy and improve margin.
Manage negotiation and coordinate order
acceptance for large projects and other orders with attention to terms and
conditions, clean orders, and accurate communication of specialized needs
to support cost effective order processing and timely manufacture of
product.
Interface and oversee N's, MARC's, GTC's and
service and repair facilities to maintain business relationships, satisfy
Customers to maintain profitability.
Act as legal
representative on all matters for Regional Sales and Operations to assure
adherence to export compliance regulation, ethical compliance in all
affairs, maintenance of Jebel Ali Free Zone status, favorable terms and
conditions of all orders, and other matters as required by the business
and status as aU.S. legal entity.
