Role:

§         Accountable for environmental sampling, calculations, data analysis, preparation of periodic environmental reports, periodic inspection, follow up and providing advice to operations for achieving excellence in environmental.

§         Carryout periodic sampling of various environmental samples in strict accordance with established procedures or SOP’s.

§         Perform in-depth analysis of environment data and follow-up implementation of appropriate corrective/ preventive actions.

§         Advise managers, employees, contractors and other stakeholders on ways to identify and control environmental aspects and their impacts on people and environment.

§         Participate as an auditor in the periodic internal environment audits.

§         Achieve agreed objectives as measured by key performance indicators (KPIs) which have been established for the area of responsibility.

Qualifications and Skills

§         University degree in Environment science or Environmental chemistry or similar discipline.

§         3-5 years experience in similar position for a production/industrial operation.

§         Innovation and excellence: ability to rethink and improve current practices, generate ideas and find new solutions and implement the ideas.

§         Planning: ability to set and prioritize goals, use resources and ensure timetables are established for implementing various activities.

§         Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
