The client is a Insurance company and they are looking for an IT Manager for managing, maintaining, developing the IT infrastructure and application landscape for Global Corporate in the Middle East to be based in Bahrain.

 

The IT Manager will be responsible for maintaining, reviewing and developing the IT infrastructure for GCiME (LAN, WAN, Hardware, telephony etc) in alignment with global Infrastructure strategy and Service providers. He/She will be responsible for IT project and program management for GCiME Business and for ensuring compliance with Group IT architecture and standards, governance and controls. He/She will also be required to ensure IT Security policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and establish and maintain good working relationships with key internal customers ensuring they receive expert help and advice they need in relations to all systems.

 

To apply you must be degree educated and have 5 yrs of IT experience of which 2+ yrs in leading roles (project leads, management roles, and account responsibilities with a

background in financial services, preferably understanding of the insurance business. You must have knowledge and previous operational experience in the Middle East.

thorough understanding of a typical FS IT infrastructure and application landscape is required as well as a understanding of key issues of supporting a Financial service business from an IT perspective. You must have a proven track record of successful major program and project management and established relationships with regional IT (vendor) community. It is essential that you have a good understanding of IT practices, procedures, concepts and principals, especially those related to security, compliance and customer satisfaction.
