Railway/Highway Engineer

Our client is a joint venture consultancy compnay involved in a major rail project in KSA.

Role Summary/Purpose:

The Railway/Highway Engineer is responsible for all aspects of civil engineering. He should be able to plan and design in the field of railway industry.

Essential Responsibilities:

Ø      Working as a part of consortium team he will be responsible for the revision of the approved design.

Ø      He has to be expert in Railway/Highways Design software packages including CAD / AutoCAD

Ø      He will produce the design drawings in case realignment are considered necessary

Ø      Provide support and guidance throughout the duration of the rail project.

Ø      Reporting to senior engineers and / or to the concerned authorized by the consortium management.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Ø      Tertiary qualifications with 10+ years experience, of which at least 5 years spent in the Railway & Highway.

Ø      A good background in highway & railway design and proficiency in AutoCAD/ CAD is essential.

Ø      Proficiency in other design packages is beneficial.

Ø      Background knowledge of the design railways standards.

Ø      Experienced in Preliminary and Detailed Geometric Design of Railways

Ø      Experienced in Flyover and underpass design.

Ø      Use of GIS software (Arc View, Arc Info, Map Info) in railway & highway designing.
