Senior Sales Engineer

worldwide provider of regulatory compliant, electronic surveillance
solutions. For nearly fifteen years we
have been building networks, futures, cases [for the prosecution] and
relationships. Our comprehensive product
portfolio covers all three functions of the de facto lawful intercept (LI)
architecture: access, mediation and
collection. We have deployed proven
lawful intercept solutions on all continents, in the networks of the largest
wireline, wireless and cable carriers, while also creating non-traditional
solutions that include satellite voice carriers, satellite ISPs and WIFI
hotspots. Our installations can
intercept over 500 million subscribers, and serve over 10,000 law enforcement
agents.
Travel: International travel
primarily in the MENA region (50% typical, 75% peak)
Location: UAE - Dubai
Job Responsibilities
- The Sales
Engineer is the primary face to the customer representing the SS8
technical solution offering, and is a major influencer why SS8 solution is
selected.
- Works closely
with SS8 sales teams and product management to expand customer base,
evaluate, design, propose, and deliver world class solutions to prospects and
existing customers.
- Create winning
solutions design based on prospect and customer specific network
deployments.
- Represent SS8
and SS8 partner solutions in creating end to end solutions for prospects
and customers, leveraging both SS8 and SS8 partner solutions.
- Works closely
with SS8 product management and service organizations to conduct trials
and proof of concepts.
- Provide feedback
to SS8 product management team to trends and real world issues.
- Craft winning
responses and creative solutions to RFI/RFP issued by prospects and
customers.
Relevant Experience
& Skills
- Must have 8+
years of pre-sales experience in the telecom service provider industry
within technical product management, engineering, sales engineering, or
sales consulting.
- Must have 3+ years
of pre-sales technical and business sales presentation experience directly
engaged in front of customers, prospects, and partners.
- Must have
credible working knowledge of network infrastructure issues and solutions
in wireline, GSM/cdma2000 wireless, broadband IP, and VoIP networks.
- Must have prior
working experience in solutions deign with telephony and IP network
architectures.
- Must have
excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact
with technical counterparts and business counterparts.
- Must be able to
clearly communicate the product vision and value proposition to SS8
internal and external audiences.
- Must be able to
craft presentations, and respond to written communications.
- Should have
working knowledge of tools and web development skills to craft trials and
proof of concepts.
- Should have
domain knowledge of lawful intercept related protocols and standards.
- Should have
prior working experience in solutions deign with lawful intercept
solutions.
