Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Executive Management Team (EMT)
Due to our continuous growth and our long term expansion plans, we
are currently looking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer.
Reporting to the EMT & working with the CEO, the successful candidate will
be responsible for leading the financial strategy to facilitate the company’s
ambitious growth plans whilst challenging and improving existing processes and
systems. The successful candidate will adopt a hands on role to manage and
oversee monthly reporting and forecasting ensuring timely and accurate
commentary to the EMT.
Applicants must be ACCA qualified (or equivalent) and will have over 15 years
experience within Security or Construction environments.

International travel will be required and experience of working
within an International organisation is essential.
The CFO will be responsible to:
i.Provide strategic leadership for the
company by working with the Executive Management Team to establish long-range financial
& business goals, strategies, plans and policies.
ii.Management of company’s fiscal functions
in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the
regulatory and advisory organisations and in accordance with financial
management techniques and appropriate practices.
The main duties will be to:
i.Plan, develop, organise, implement,
direct and evaluate the organisation’s fiscal function and performance.
ii.Develop credibility for the finance
group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports
and financial trends in order to assist the EMT in performing their
responsibilities.
iii.Enhance, implement and enforce
policies and procedures of the organisation by way of systems that will improve
the overall operation and effectiveness of the organisation.
iv.Participate in continual improvement
of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial
issues impacting their budgets.
v.Provide strategic financial input and
leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organisation
vi.Be an advisor from the financial
perspective on any contracts, joint ventures or acquisitions into which the organisation
may enter.
vii.Evaluate the finance division
structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and
effectiveness of the group and provide individuals with professional and personal
growth.
The ideal candidate will
demonstrate the following competencies:
i.CA/CPA/CMA with more than 15 years of
relevant industry experience
ii.Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and other
regulatory guidelines and policies.
iii.High ethical standards and an
appropriate professional image.
iv.Strategic visionary with sound
technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational
focus.
v.Intelligent and articulate individual
who can relate to people at all levels of an organisation and possesses
excellent communication & negotiation skills.
vi.Experience in HR Net.
