ü  Prepare subcontract documentation based on letter of intent

ü  Review the contract document prior to signature, to ensure that agreed qualifications have been included

ü  Generate request for quotation for project specific Insurance policies

ü  Act as the custodian of Contract documents, to insure proper distribution

ü  Coordinate with accounts department for procurement of Bank Guarantees

ü  Coordinate with project managers to finalize the valuation procedure

ü  Coordinate with and advise the projects managers upon various correspondences and identifying potential variation / claim situations and generate the Request for variation, follow-up with client with respect to contractual issues

ü  Maintain Change Order Log for all projects

ü  Reviews the scope of works and the specifications to be contracting

ü  Invites recommended contractors to bid for the required work assignments

ü  Performs technical evaluation of bids, exercises all possible options and finalizes the offer during the negotiation

ü  Prepares final recommendations to assist in nominates the contractor, based on capability, experience, quality, resources and the final commercial offer

ü  Proposes contract type and compensation method as agreed and recommended

ü  Prepares the final contract documents according to the FIDIC standards

ü  Follows up the submission of performance bank guarantee

ü  Analyses and verifies technical specifications and documents provided

ü  Performs design analysis develop design and layout options which conform to clients specifications

ü  Controlling and monitoring the various cost factors involved in different stages of the project.  To issue back charge notice to vendors and subcontractors
