Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

- A degree in Accounting or Auditing; and an CISA, CPA, CIA, CFE, ACA or CIMA (Candidates pursuing for any of the mentioned qualifications might be considered as well).

- Held a position in Internal Audit function of a multinational / Big 4 for at least 2-3 years (Experience of mining & mineral industry would be an added advantage)

Required Skill Set

(In case of IT requirements) Knowledge of Microsoft application and related mining & marketing software

Overall Job Purpose

Involves the examining activities and assures through assistance the effectiveness of the internal control structure and records. Sometimes will provide basic consulting advice on business risks and controls. 

Key Accountabilities

- Plans and coordinates assignments to meet priorities, control schedule and prevent backlog.

- Evaluates compliance with applicable rules, regulations, processes, policies, and procedures.

- Prepares organized and accurate work papers to support audit objectives.

- Prepares audits report drafts and letters of recommendation relative to compliance with appropriate standards, applicable regulations, and adherence to accepted auditing standards and principles.

- Consults with and advises officials on risk and control issues.

- Resolve related review comments; assists in fraud investigations; performs financial vouching on request; and performs other tasks as requested by the management
