Our client, a newly established FMCG joint venture in Saudi Arabia, currently seeks a sales manager to join their expanding regional team. 

Based in Jeddah, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the purpose of this role will be to oversee the business development and field sales teams dedicated to the impulse and new business channels across Jeddah.  You will handle some of the largest household name brands in the world with a turnover of over 20 million dollars per annum and a budget of over a million dollars.  You will manage a team of merchandisers and sales executives to drive instore fundamentals such as visibility, share of display, share of shelf.  You will manage new launches, you will handle forecasting working closely with supply chain and you will also closely monitor competitor activity specifically in terms of share, pricing and customer value proposition.

As the ideal candidate, you must be an Arabic speaker, who is degree educated with a range of 4-8 years FMCG sales experience.  You will currently be working within the MENA region.  This role is a DISTRIBUTOR and not a PRINCIPLE opportunity, as such the person we are looking to recruit will likely be working with a leading distributor in the region.  Those with Saudi experience and a transferable iqama are preferred, although applications from all over the GCC are welcome.  You will be a passionate sales leader who is a results driven individual.   You will have exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills and be able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of the organisation.  You will be an excellent presenter who is able to convey ideas in a simple and clear way to energise the organisation into action.
