Management oversight of the day to day
functions associated with the Attractions areas of AWPR, which include:
Safari Tours (regular and VIP), in-park tram operations, children’s area
and other rides as required
Assists with strategic departmental long
range planning and annual budgeting for area
Ensures departmental areas are operated at
the highest level of safety, quality and service, while maintaining strong
fiscal responsibility
Develops and monitors consistent oversight
of area guidelines and procedures
Conducts departmental training sessions as
needed, assuring that each employee is properly and thoroughly trained for
their position.
Ensures interdepartmental teamwork to
accomplish park and divisional Vision and Mission Goals
Addresses all guest comments and takes
appropriate steps for resolution
Manages systems to maintain the highest
levels of guest, staff and animal safety and prevent loss of receipts and
products
Approves all staffing
schedules and ensures labor budget guidelines are met
Ensures that all Financial
reports and measurement tools are being used to actively monitor income
and expenses
Maintains all locations
and areas in a clean, attractive, and highly marketable condition
Ensures the inventory
levels of all types of tickets and supplies are maintained
Fulfills park operations
Manager on Duty assignments as required
Supervises and supports a
team of supervisors and front line guest service staff
Demonstrates leadership of
employees through ongoing training to include applicable laws, Zoo guidelines,
business conduct and ethics and the provision of quality services to
guests and employees supporting the highest level of program integrity.
The Person
Bachelors degree in
business administration
5 to 9 years experience in a theme park
environment, with at least 3 years in rides management position
Possess skills to operate a point of sale
computer system
Knowledge of profit/loss
statements
Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills

Job Purpose
The Kerridge Manager (Business Solutions Manager - Automotive Group) is the key and strategic
interface between IT function and Automotive division. The primary responsibility is to help
Plans, supervises and implements routine, and non-routine corrosion mitigation and control activities in assigned operational area. Conducts corrosion inspection on pipelines, well casing/tubing, and carries out failure investigations.
