The Role

-       To directly participate in design and implementation of the public education program

-          To discuss educational and leisure needs with stakeholders to identify their priorities for public education

-          To provide accurate and timely budget assessments to Horticulture management

-          Ensure safe conditions for course participants

-          Initiate, manage and chair meetings and training sessions with stakeholders

-          Manage, motivate, inspire and work closely with a multidisciplinary staff and network of stakeholders

-          Evaluate the education standards and provide direction for project development

-          Develops an annual budget and project calendar

-          Keep abreast of relevant professional developments, new techniques and issues relevant to the activities of the organization’s public education program

The Person

- Diploma or BSc/MSC in a relevant educational discipline

- At least 5 years leadership experience and practical teaching experience in a world class biodiversity or environmental education institute with a strong public education program

- Fluency in English and Arabic languages

The role is based in the UAE and a preference will be shown to UAE nationals and fluent Arabic speakers
