Key Responsibilities & Skills:
o A degree in Law, obtained from a reputable university or other academic institution, and an excellent background in collections and enforcement, preferably in Kuwait or another GCC country.
o At least 5 years experience in managing legal collections, preferably in Kuwait or another GCC country, managing not less than 5 directly reporting staff.
o At least 5 years experience in the service and execution of court orders, preferably in collections or a related field.
o An excellent knowledge of the legal procedures involved in legal collections and a practical understanding of the Kuwaiti or similar judicial system.
o Highly developed people skills that will enable the Assistant Manager, Legal collections not only to manage a diverse team but also to interact with a broad spectrum of people including customers and government officials.
o An ability, both in terms of expertise and management skills, to train, supervise and motivate staff to help them to reach their full potential and enable the Legal Collections Department to optimize its efficiency and performance.
o A high degree of computer literacy, involving a good working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
o Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, and the ability to make presentations to senior management.

Others:
The Assistant Manager, Legal Collections will be directly responsible for instituting all legal collection proceedings, managing those proceedings to a successful conclusion and obtaining the required court orders. The Assistant Manager, Legal Collections will ensure that the Legal Collections Department obtains: payment orders, travel bans, prison applications and orders; and all other necessary court instruments; he will also be responsible for the correct and timely service of all such orders. The Assistant Manager, Legal Collections will be expected to devise and implement strategies and systems which maximize the performance of the Legal Collections Department and enable it to achieve its targets in a timely manner.
