| Job Description |
Minimum Qualifications:
§ Bachelors Degree in business management or Training and Development discipline from a recognised institution.
Minimum Experience:
§ Experience should be at least 10 years experience preferably in the utilities or industrial sector.
Training Expertise:
Provides expertise and professional advice to Marafiq on training and development issues to ensure the definition and implementation of effective programme activities that support the achievement of the Marafiq’s goals and objectives.
Training Needs Analysis:
Analyse organizational business plans that facilitate the development of long, medium and short-term strategies and operational programs to meet training and development needs, ensuring consistency with Marafiq’s objectives and vision.
Training Execution:
Monitor and oversee the design, delivery and presentation of training programs in order to ensure consistency, quality and relevance of delivered courses.
Training Evaluation:
Establishes processes for the monitoring of training feedback and post training progress of participants to assess effectiveness of training and make improvements in quality of training.
Reporting:
Prepares regular reports data, on training activities and budget inputs for training activities for future reference and senior management review.
Cost Control:
Monitor the financial performance of the Training section against budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.
Policies & Procedures:
Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of training activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.

| MARAFIQ was Established by Royal Decree in October 2000 as a joint-stock company with four major shareholders - the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RC), Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), and the Public Investment Fund (PIF) each holding 24.81 percent of the company. Seven private companies are the remaining shareholder. Marafiq started operating as a private power and water utility company on 1 January 2003, with initial owner equity of SR 2.5 billion. |
