Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum Experience:
3 - 5 years’ relevant engineering/maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
2 – 3 years’ operational water treatment experience.
Previous supervisory/man-management experience.
Project management experience.

Sound process knowledge of desalination operational processes.
Sound understanding of all relevant plant and equipment.
Sound understanding of planned and preventative maintenance schedules and techniques

The prime responsibility of the jobholder is to supervise the operation of the Water Production and associated auxiliaries during the shift and to supervise the operators, prepare shift reports and ensure the smooth operations of the facility.
The Water Production section work three shifts four crews (24 hours/day). 
The nature of the department activity requires fieldwork rather than office work, and hence the employees are subject to great deal of hazardous chemicals, high temperature and pressure media, rotating equipment, etc.
