Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
-Will play a key role in the estimation of project costs, preparation of specification, bills of quantities and other tender documents. Will be liable for the cost control, resolution of contractual claims, and settlement of final accounting.

Key responsibilities:

• Review proposal specifications, drawings and determine scope of work & required contents of estimate.
• Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, bid strategy and presentation meetings.
• Responsible for claims, variation orders, cost control and settlement of final account.

Prerequisites:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Science or equivalent.
• Experience in quantity surveying, cost control & contract administration for civil/building engineering.
