Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Act as Site Manager on Power Plant Project worldwide. Provide overall leadership to aggressively drive execution of all site activities (Construction & Commissioning)
* Achieve project site targets approved by the Project Manager including but limited to: cost control, schedule management and consistent performance .
* Manage site activities for all GE functions as need in accordance with established Construction & Commissioning department standards.
* Serve as Customer focal point on project sites and manage GE subcontractors or Partner Contract to ensure success.
* Manage and administer all GE Subcontracts on site and interface with headquarters.
* Promote customer service and satisfaction.
* Ensure strict EHS and quality processes are implemented.
* Maintain accurate assessment of site performance proactively take action as required.
* Foster a team environment to facilitate success.
* Utilize six sigma, process discipline and digitization tools to optimize site Performance.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Minimum 4 Year technical degree
* Minimum 10-year experience in field management on power plants, two of which must be in excess of 50MW size.
* Minimum 5 years experience as Site Manager on large power plant project.
* Direct Construction and Commissioning management experience.
* Technical experience on Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and power plants.
* Demonstrated leadership and management skill which has resulted in successful
Projects.
* Contract administration and financial management
* Customer Services skills.
* Communication and problem solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple complicated Tasks.
* Aggressive approach and drive in Construction and Commissioning Managements.
