They are seeking a degree qualified Senior Project Architect to join our operations throughout the Middle East

Key Duties

• Management of Architectural Draughtsman
• Ability to co-ordinate effectively with Building Services and Structural disciplines
• Sound practical design skills to assist Project Concept Design Architect
• Good understanding of Architectural Detailing
• Good knowledge of CAD
• Makes design decisions and recommendations coordinated with the project requirements that establish the basic design solution
• Directs the work of other architects and drafters relative to the project requirements
• Works in a multi-discipline environment sharing and coordinating work to meet the project goals
• Establishes project staffing and schedule requirements and is responsible for meeting the objectives
• Works closely with other team members and the project manager
• Interfaces in a professional manner with clients to represent the project
• Represents firm in workshops and meetings to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work
• Reviews project design by others (peer review)
• Requires application of intensive and diversified knowledge of architectural principles and practices in broad areas of assignment
• Makes routine decisions governed by established project standards or project instructions
• May provide guidance to other designers, drafters, and architects
• Consistently estimates accurate completion time of own assignments and effectively coordinates with project team and across disciplines
• Regularly demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with clients and other
• team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and licensed as an Architect preferred.
• Needs to be well rounded generalist.
• Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in Architectural Design, Production Drawings, Design Reviews and Design Management well as the ability to mentor staff.  Must have seen own design work through construction phase.
• Candidate will have experience of working for an Architectural design consultancy firm, and be confident in liaising with the different in-house disciplines.
• Visa must be transferable
• Experience in High rise - Residential (Villas and apartments), Hotels - Mixed use would be preferred
