The Project Coordinator, PMO will play a key role in managing the PMO back-operations, coordinating with ADPC project managers, business and functional units; providing support throughout the project life cycle, maintaining ADPC master schedule and ensuring timely reporting to the senior management. The successful applicant will be requested to:
• Create and maintain ADPC master schedule.
• Provide support and coaching to ADPC staff in creating and maintaining their projects and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate PM Methodology templates usage and implementation.
• Consolidate ADPC Unit’s progress reports and metrics, and analyze, comment on and generate progress reports to senior management.
• Maintain the executive projects dashboard to provide real-time information and reporting functionality and prepare executive-level correspondence, presentations & reports by preparing and editing text, graphs, slides and other material.
• Coordinate the change request system and ensures that change requests are reflected in schedules.
• Coordinate the Issues Register and resolution of issues.
• Ensure risk triggers are monitored and reported on by their owners.
• Other related duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
· Degree in business administration or computer science, preferably with some courses in Project Management. PMI certified PMP is an advantage.
· At least 5 years experience of which 3 years in a project environment. Program management experience is definite advantage.
Competencies
Technical Competencies:
· Program and project management skills, including scheduling and cost estimation, managing resource calendars, change orders, reporting, etc.
· Advanced user of Ms Project. Ms Project Server experience preferred.
Professional Competencies:
· High organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (English). Arabic is an advantage.
Behavioural Competencies:
· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
