Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
The candidate will be the Planner for the GE Oil & gas repair shop in Qatar.
  • He/She will be in charge of managing Customer material coming from site and needed conumables to meet repair job delivery.
  • He will be also programming shop activities, working with the shop manager to balance the workload and minimize cost of jobs.
  • He will be also responsible for the on time receival of all needed material to complete repair job, and he will be leading the schedule updates on all the jobs, including job status, forecast, planned delivery times, and corrective action as needed.

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High school or equivalent instruction is preferred
  • Good knowledge of technical english
  • Good scheduling/prioritization skills, working on a large number of components and jobs at the same time
  • High flexibility in terms of task assigned and very good teamwork skills
  • Capability to work in authonomy, with full accountability for the lead time relative to the entire repair process
