Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Plans, organises, directs and controls the operations of the restaurant /café, including all areas, kitchen, bar and restaurant
Determines the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Provides full training to new employees
Sets staff work schedules and monitors staff performance at all times.
Controls inventory, monitors revenues and modifies procedures and prices.
Resolves customer complaints and ensures health and safety regulations are followed at all times in the restaurant
Negotiates arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Negotiates arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Experience

3-4 years experience in the food service sector, including 1 year as Restaurant Supervisor
