Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is rapidly increasing its presence in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) market and we are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Business Development Coordinator to provide vital support to our business development and marketing activities in this region.

As a Business Development Coordinator your main responsibilities will involve:
- Assisting with the production of proposals (e.g. RFPs), sales pitches and directory submissions and the drafting, coordinating, proofing and updating of publications
- Supporting development, implementation and follow-up activities surrounding client meetings
- Helping to organise client seminars and conferences, including sourcing venues, preparing invitation lists, coordinating conference materials, managing the event and ensuring proactive follow-up
- Undertaking research and analysis on clients, targets, markets, competitors, rankings, etc. as required
- Coordinating mailings for client newsletters and briefings. Maintaining mailing lists and updating as necessary, using relevant systems
- Updating and amending the contents of relevant sections of the firm’s website and intranet
- Tracking inbound and outbound referrals
- Helping with the integration of MENA contacts into our firm’s new global contact management system
As a Business Development Coordinator your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Degree or equivalent
- Previous business development support experience, ideally served in a professional services environment
- Ability to prioritise and act on own initiative
- Excellent IT Skills, particularly knowledge of the MS Office suite being able to produce high quality Word and PowerPoint documents. Adobe Creative or Front Page expertise an advantage
- Willingness to broaden experience and develop skills further
- Sound knowledge of or experience in the legal industry would be desirable
- Specific experience responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) also a plus.
