The Designer is responsible to the applicable Engineer.

v      To provide electrical engineering drawings pertaining to power projects.

v      To liaise with Discipline Engineers regarding technical inputs/outputs.

v      To produce presentable and technically correct drawings and to meet defined   schedules.

v      To apply professional level skills in the preparation, review and checking of discipline drawings and Vendor drawings.

v      To ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner and to contribute to a safe work environment plus if/when acting in a supervisory role assumes responsibility for ensuring a safe workplace and encouraging safe work practices from supervised staff.

      To provide and promote effective communications between colleagues and senior staff.

v      Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in power projects within a design consultancy.

v      Should have experience of working within an ISO 9001 QA environment.

v      Must be proficient with AutoCAD latest versions.

v      Must be competent in written and spoken English.

v      Must have capable communications skills.

v      Must be capable of managing personal time allocation for preparation/revision to drawings.
