Our client, one of the regions most successful brand communication agencies is seeking a Design Director for their Dubai based office. 

Reporting to the Creative director you will plan and direct each phase of assigned projects; directing creative personnel, resources, and processes, while being accountable for the design quality of each project managed. You must demonstrate adherence to established budgets and schedules, and rationalise design solutions to decision makers.

You will also collaborate with account management personnel on proposals and pitches. As a Design Director you must seek product excellence in all aspects of work, drive to be recognised as a valuable partner, both internally with colleagues (in the studio and in the client services group) and externally with international clients, and serve as a mentor to designers. In addition, the Design Director is responsible for marketing/new business development, the creative process, planning/resource management, and team management.

The ideal candidate will have 5 + years of experience across all practices within a recognized brand management agency. The Design Director will serve as a role model for Senior Designers and Designers, as well as be a meaningful contributor to the design community. Strong verbal and written communication skills a must. Arabic speaking preferred but not essential.
