Due to sustained growth, one of Egypt’s leading automotive organisations is looking to appoint an Internal Auditor.

 

The Person:



This role requires a deep understanding of both Internal Audit and relevant Accounting Standards, a working knowledge of Computerized Information Systems, proficiency in the application of audit management software (ACL, Excel, Teammate etc.) and IIA standards. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to possess knowledge of different risk management techniques and implementations, as well as having experienced working with different cultures, regulatory bodies and business environments.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Help develop the annual Internal Audit plan based on the risk assessment for the organisation. As part of this, help develop fraud risk assessments for group companies and assess the fraud existence upon reporting by analyzing fraud indicators.
• Ensure the completion of audit projects on a quarterly basis in accordance with the annual plan to ensure timely completion and provide quarterly feed back/assurance to Head of Audit about the achievement of the audit plan. Explore alternative courses of action for correcting control weaknesses, resolving operating problems or improving performance and evaluates recommendations presented by the Audit Team. Ensure that the audit report includes value added recommendations to the client operations.
• Conduct a high-level review of all projects work papers to ensure compliance with the IIA standards and achievement of audit objectives.
• Assist Operations Management as needed by providing only recommendation in the review of Group-wide policies and procedures, Delegation of Authorities, and operational procedures for individual business units.

This role is located internationally and outside of the UK and therefore is exempt from age discrimination legislation.
