Director of Sales & Marketing required for a popular five star resort - in the UAE . Ideal person would be a Assistant DOSM or Senior Sales Manager with minimum 02 - 03 years experience.

Person Specification

· 5 Star background

· Preferably with local Sales & Marketing experience.

· Organized, revenue and quality focused.

· Proven ability to lead, train, motivate, evaluate, mentor and direct employees to achieve desired goals.

Responsibilities:

* Establishes contacts and meets with all corporate clientele of the hotel.

* Establishes and maintains contacts with all Destination Managements Companies, travel agencies

and tour operators.

* Follows up sales leads for the hotel.

* Participates in sales trips and sales blitz's, call accounts within the marketing area, and reports

to the General Manager potential markets needing coverage and follow-ups

* Supervises the Sales & Marketing Department.

* Analyzes competition and market trends and recommends solutions to meet these changes.

* Provides feedbacks to Sales Department on changes in marketing conditions, as a result of direct

sales call, telephone calls, and direct mailing in his market area.

* Prepares post meeting evaluations.

* Prepares a program for good tracing and maintains effective sales calls plan.

* Shares all sales related information with other department, and should have good relation with

other executives..
