Purpose
As Data Validator, you will be responsible for efficiently and effectively validating submissions of supplier questionnaires and documentation. You will identify data issues and flag up inaccuracies for resolution, to ensure the data held on Achilles platforms is of high quality. The work involves accuracy and close attention to detail, requiring good technical, and organisational skills. It will be important to demonstrate sound time management and planning while remaining flexible in approach.
Results & Responsibilities
Data Quality
• Review information submitted within Supplier questionnaires
• Contact Suppliers to resolve data entry errors or inconsistencies
• Highlight any missing or incomplete information and notify the Supplier Telephone Account Management Team where further action is required
• Ensure all data is in accordance to scheme standards and protocols
• Carrying out other tasks to progress customer data from application to full registration on the database
• Use internal systems to identify any application problems or issues and escalate to the appropriate person or team
• Update and maintain customer details and account records using in-house applications
• Maintain an accurate and up to date contact log of all customer communication using CRM
• Review requests for non-standard data
Process efficiency
• Manage workload through CRM queue to ensure all outstanding queries are addressed
• Process supplier questionnaires quickly and accurately to meet agreed Service Levels (SLA’s)
• Work with Supplier Account Managers to address any issues in a timely fashion
• Maximise publication rates, taking actions to reduce time from questionnaire submission to publication on the system (Time to publication)
Collaboration
• Ensure smooth information flow between data validation and the Supplier Account Manager
• Update CRM with clear, concise notes on data issues and steps for resolution
• Maintain an accurate and up to date contact log of all customer communication using CRM or back office systems
• Respond quickly and clear to requests for assistance
• Work closely with Supplier Account Management to ensure a seamless, value-add service to our customers
Business Improvement
• Attend monthly team meetings to discuss issues, suggestions, and improvements relating to the running of the team.
• Take part in morning huddles to review previous day and to set daily objectives
• Use Lean techniques to identify and implement process efficiencies
• Review standards and protocols to suggest improvements
• Develop new skills through attendance at formal training, participating in group workshops, and undergoing coaching with experienced agents
Controlar Only
• Assist large Buyers when they are engaging independent contractors, collecting evidence of required documentation prior to being able to work E.g. Right to Work forms, insurances etc
• Receive documentation, scan hard copy and upload to a database, as necessary
• Complete data validation check of documents to ensure compliance
