Serving as the field point of contact for monitoring and maintaining compliance with contractors' own SH&E Policies and plans.
Undertaking daily visual inspections, reporting issues and submitting an observation report to the Contractor via project reporting system. Follow-up the close-out of same with Contractor.
Attending site SH&E meetings.
Submit safety inspection reports as directed by the Resident Engineer / Project Manager.
Check SH&E requirements in method statements, risk assessments and permit to work procedures submitted by the Contractor.
Check that all agreed SH&E standards and applicable SH&E regulations are observed.
Check appropriate maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment.
Check site security, fire, first aid and welfare facilities and procedures appropriate to the works are provided and adequately maintained.
Assist in the Investigation of all accidents and dangerous occurrences and report in accordance with the Client requirements and procedures.
Set a high personal example of Health & Safety at all items.
The successful candidate will have the following;
* Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: The ideal
candidate must have a diploma in civil,
* Minimum 5 years working experience in sewearge
and water pipeline industry.
Must have prior GCC experience
