Job Description
Our client, a Manufacturing organisation is currently seeking to recruit Stores and Yard Head. You will be reporting directly to the Materials ManagerJob PurposeTo plan, direct and control material storage operation to ensure adequate goodsproducts available to provide sales demand and release items in timely manner according to customer requirements. Principal Accountabilities (Key Performance Areas)1. Ensure effective implementation of stock control and inventory system - record all materialsproducts In and Out accurately.2. Ensure adequate stock inventory - materials, supplies and trading items are available to meet production and sales demands.3. Timely issuance of materials, products and equipment - to meet customer requirements4. Ensure accurate receipt of materials and validate against purchase orders 5. Improve inter and intra department communication - orders to replenish of raw materials and other items required.6. Ensure a high level of traceability and control of documents flow throughout the inventory and delivery.7. Ensure periodic accurate reporting for management information - input to financial review process8. Manage operational costs against agreed forecasts and budgets.9. Increase customer satisfaction level and feedback - operation efficiency10. Ensure implementation and compliance to HSE policies and practices.11. Recommend best performer for rewards and recognitions management programs12. Identify appropriate training programs for need improvement employees.13. Maintain employee satisfaction and morale
