Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (TAKREER)
Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (TAKREER) was established in 1999 to take over the responsibilities of refining operations from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). This covers the crude oil and condensate refining, supply of petroleum products and production of granulated sulphur. Takreer’s main objective is to develop the refining industry in the UAE which started with the inauguration of Abu Dhabi Refinery (ex. Umm Al Nar) in 1976 and Ruwais Refinery in 1982.
Takreer is considered a prominent oil refining company regionally and internationally contributing to oil markets and to the rapid growth of UAE economy. Since our inception, Takreer maintained its position as a leading refining company, thanks to the high standard and efficient refining operations consistent with sound health, safety and environment practices as well as the world standard performance of both operations and employees.
Job Description
-
Carries out physical and chemical analyses on all Refinery samples such as crude oils, intermediate and finished petroleum products, utility and process water samples, lube oil samples, scales and sludge from different units, corrosion products, catalysts, process chemicals, industrial wastes, effluent water, samples related with environmental pollution control, gases, granulated sulphur, GUP (Area IV) water samples and other related substances.

Follows standard test methods adopting wet chemistry techniques and state-of-the-art technology, in conjunction with sophisticated, computerized Laboratory equipment requiring computer literacy, special skills, care and experience, for plant control, quality control, product certification, corrosion control etc.
Desired Candidate's Profile
-
Profile: Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent qualification.

4 years experience in Petroleum Refinery Laboratory and familiarity with advanced computerized Laboratory equipment. OR
-
Higher Secondary School Certificate offering Science subjects.

6 years Petroleum Refinery Laboratory experience and familiarity with advanced Computerized Laboratory equipment. AND
-
Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Computer literate
Experience: 6 - 13 years
Education: Basic - Secondary School , Diploma
Nationality: Any Nationality
