About Company
Public Works Authority (ASHGHAL) aims at contributing to the economic and social development of the state of Qatar Through implementing public projects in accordance with the approved plans of the state. Through its major departments, Ashghal strives to develop the state’s infrastructure and public amenities to the level of international standard achieved by developed countries and communities, and in general, it contributes to the overall sustainable development of the state in economic and social areas of the state. Job Description
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

Perform the Tender preparation and processing

Maintain the tender documents and procedures
-
Prepare weekly, monthly tender briefing to section supervisor.

Follow-up all departments involved in a tender process.

Maintain a tender schedule that reflects requirements for each tender
-
Work with costing group to make sure tenders are priced on time and all costs are covered
-
Responsible for tender accuracy and completeness.

Make sure all bid documents required for submittal are prepared and signed by the proper personnel

Obtain and analyze competitors' information, products, prices and services
-
Identify business opportunity for RM group of products and pass it to key contact person in charge with specific product
-
Work closely with Senior Tender Specialist to plan tenders and support the process

Work closely with Senior Specialist and Contract officer or act in this role when assigned
Qualification and Experience
-
Graduate from recognized University in Engineering, QS, or Law Preference is given to (2-3) years of Arabian Gulf Experience and familiarity with FIDIC
-
Bi-lingual skills in English /Arabic would be viewed favorably.

A minimum of 10 years experience of gained from tender document preparation and services
-
Preference is given to (2-3) years of Arabian Gulf Experience

Outstanding office, computer & communication skills , multitasking and able to meet deadlines
